Round Lake Christian Assembly

Expanding The Vision For All Generations

Round Lake Christian Assembly is situated among the northern rolling foothills of the Mohican State Park. In 1950, only five weeks of summer camp were offered; this summer Round Lake will offer 37 sessions of youth camp. Each year, the camp hosts some 20 Director-planned Retreats for youth and adults. Last year, Round Lake hosted 71 Private Retreats for youth, churches, leadership groups and schools.

During the past 20 years, Round Lake Christian Assembly has served more than our 129 member churches and the Christian community, providing an unusual setting, apart from the routine and often unchristian surroundings of daily living as:

Round Lake Christian Assembly consists of 191 acres with housing for 500 individuals, two complete kitchen and dining facilities and four winterized buildings. The two most recent facilities, the Girl’s Dorm/Retreat Center finished in June of 1999 with an investment exceeding $1,400,000 – not including donated services by friends of the camp – and the Gymnasium finished in July of 2003 with a cost of $620,000, have proven to be vital components in our ministry to children, teens and adults. The Gymnasium facility is the hub of activity for classrooms, recreation, concerts and a gathering place during inclement weather in summer or winter.

The campers who attend Round Lake come to camp with a variety of styles in clothing, hair, musical tastes, maturity and spiritual depth. We seek to provide attractive Godly opportunities that convince youth and adults that Jesus can meet their needs!

With this understanding, the Trustees and Directors of the camp approved building these structures. Technology is an integral part of the teaching technique and teachers have a place where these tools can complement lessons. Students can learn in an uninterrupted environment and they can leave with timely truths that will strengthen their convictions.
